Pop Over Pop
Iconographic pluralism distorted from concept
This series of portraits present how the consumption system debunks images through their overexploitation, the unconscious and undue use of portraits of certain characters in history has generated an oblivion of the legacy of these same, making them empty icons, devoid of meaning and background.
Pop Over Pop invites us to raise awareness in the iconographic pluralism distorted of concept. The characters are consumed and beyond having an affinity with their ideology, these are used by a need for belonging.
